It does not get very warm in the ski valley, but it does get HOT in Taos. You can wear warm stuff until after the plies. Then off they come:)

It all depends on how hard you are on your pointe shoes. Perhaps your teacher can advise you? There will be quite a bit of pointe work for those on pointe!
