It has been this way for the 14 years I have had the program and I thought everyone was aware of this. However your student must be in 2 or more dances in the video.

Since I was not trained in Balanchine, I did not "recognize" the fact that it wasn't allowed to record the work. It would certainly be ethical to inform parents before they spend $30 on an incomplete DVD.

This is Rachel's mom. I was disappointed not to see her variation on the DVD. I was wondering if there is any way I can get a copy of Rachel's variation just for personal use, I would promise not to show it to anyone but family.

Sorry Sandra, I am only following the Balanchine Trust's rules. None of Mr. Balanchine's choreography is allowed to be filmed. I thought that to be a recognized fact.

Yes, got it today. Several pieces are missing, including the Russian Dance and Serenade. Very disappointing, especially for the price paid. Would like to know why those pieces aren't included on the DVD.
