Wendy Rubin (Ballet)
Wendy Rubin began her early dance training at the School of American Ballet's program as a teenager.
At Butler University she studied under former New York City Ballet principal, Melissa Hayden, George Verdak
of the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo. Her other teachers have included
New York City Ballet alumnae Robin Sheretz Morgan, Linda Yourth, and Jillana. Ms. Rubin has taught
and choreographed since 1978. She has taught at DanceAspen and for the Jillana School's inaugural
year. She is currently teaching at the San Diego School of Ballet. With her husband, Robert, Ms. Rubin
resides in Albuquerque, NM and has two children, Vanessa and Chris.
